Haven't you shown partiality among yourselves?

My brothers, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality. For if a man with a gold ring, in fine clothing, comes into your synagogue, and a poor man in filthy clothing also comes in; and you pay special attention to him who wears the fine clothing, and say, “Sit here in a good place”; and you tell the poor man, “Stand there,” or “Sit by my footstool”; haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? (James 2:1-4 WEB.)
My brothers and sisters, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality. For if a man or woman who drives an expensive car comes into your gospel meeting, and a poor man on a bicycle also comes in; and you pay special attention to him who drives the expensive car, and say, “Welcome, please park your car in our premium parking and go to the VIP seating area”; and you tell the poor man, “Park your cycle outside,” or, “Sit down at the back of the ground”; haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
My brothers and sisters, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality. For if a man or woman from abroad comes into your church, and a poor student from a Bible school also come in; and you pay special attention to him who returned from abroad, and say, “Welcome, you must preach for a few minutes”; and you tell the Bible school student, “Sorry, you can preach next month,” or “Why don't you pray for the offertory?”; haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
My brothers and sisters, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality. For if a fair woman with short hair, in fine Western clothing, comes into your conference, and a poor, dark-skinned woman in native clothing also comes in; and you pay special attention to her who wears fine Western clothing, and say, “Welcome, ma'am; please sit in the front row”; and you ignore the poor woman, muttering to yourself, “What's this woman doing here?”; haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
My brothers, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality. For if a white man, in fine clothing, comes into your campus, and a poor Indian who is not well heeled also comes in; and you pay special attention to him whom you think is a potential sponsor, and say, “Welcome Sir, we have worked out details for your pleasant stay”; and you tell the poor man, “I am a little busy today;” haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
My brothers, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality. For if a man who appears to be a professional, wearing a suit and tie, comes into your office, and a poor man in filthy clothing also comes in; and you pay special attention to him who wears the fine clothing, and say, “Hello Sir, please come on in”; and you tell the poor man, “Please wait for your turn,” or “Have you lost your way?”; haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
My brothers, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality. For if a rich man who can invest large amounts comes into your bank, and a poor man who is a salaried also comes in; and you pay special attention to him who is rich, and say, “You are our privileged customer”; and you tell the poor man, “Sorry, you need to maintain a minimum balance of Rs 10,000,” haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
My brothers, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality. For if an Indian comes to visit The Taj Mahal, and a traveller from overseas also comes in; and you give special concession to the Indian, and say, “Visitor pass costs only Rs 20”; and you tell the foreigner, “Foreigners have to pay Rs. 500 to see the Taj;” haven’t you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
Have you come across other instances in which we practice partiality, discriminating against certain people indiscriminately? Or, have you been discriminated against?
